Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, I first picked up a camera when I was 18-years-old and immediately started my journey as a photojournalist. In 2014, I moved to Kansas City, Missouri, for school and began documenting communities on the east side of town. In 2020, I started my career as a freelance photographer and covered politics, policing, the impact of COVID-19 and homelessness. After a brief period working for a social service agency, I started graduate school at Missouri School of Journalism where I graduated with a Master's in Journalism. In June 2023, I worked as an visual intern at The Kansas City Star where I covered food, entertainment, crime, gun violence, and culture. In 2024, I worked as a staff visual journalist for the Riverfront Times. I now work for the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
